At Upper Charles Animal Hospital, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while maintaining clear communication and mutual respect with our clients.
Maintaining Your Pet’s Care
To prescribe medications and provide ongoing medical care, we must maintain a valid Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR), which requires your pet to have been examined within the past 12 months.
Appointment Policies
We value your time and ask that you value ours as well.
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Clients who miss one scheduled appointment (no-show) will be charged a $75 scheduling fee before future appointments can be booked.
- Clients who have two appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $75 scheduling fee before future appointments can be booked.
- Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled depending on the day’s schedule.

Please allow 24–48 hours for prescription refill requests.

- Your full name
- Your pet’s name
- Medication name
- Strength and dosage (if known)

Please note that refill requests are processed during regular business hours. Requests submitted after hours, on weekends, or on holidays may require additional processing time.
